في كتاب ثواب الأعمال باسناده عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام قال: من قرأ و العصر في نوافله بعثه الله يوم القيامة مشرقا وجهه، ضاحكا سنه قريرا عينه حتى يدخل الجنة
In Kitab Thawab al-A`mal: By its isnad from Abu `Abdillah عليه السلام.
He said: Whomever recites [Surat] al-`Asr in his voluntary prayers, Allah will raise him on the Day of Resurrection with an illuminated face, smiling, and with joy in his eye until he enters Paradise.
في مجمع البيان في حديث أبي ومن قرأها ختم له بالصبر، وكان مع أصحاب الحق يوم القيامة
In Majma` al-Bayan: In the hadith of Ubay:
Whomever recites it will be marked with patience, and he will be with the people of truth on the Day of Resurrection.
في كتاب الاحتجاج للطبرسي (ره) باسناده إلى محمد بن علي الباقر عليهما السلام عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله حديث طويل وفيه خطبة الغدير وفيها وفي علي والله نزلت سورة العصر: ” بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم والعصر ” إلى آخره
In Kitab al-Ihtijaj of Tabrisi: By its isnad to Muhammad b. `Ali al-Baqir عليهما السلام from the Prophet صلى الله عليه وآله in a long hadith in which is the Sermon of al-Ghadeer:
And, by Allah, Surat al-`Asr was revealed regarding `Ali: “In the name of Allah, the Beneficent the Merciful. By the time!” – until its end.
في مجمع البيان وقيل: إن في قراءة ابن مسعود ” والعصر ان الانسان لفى خسر وانه فيه إلى آخر الدهر ” وروى ذلك عن علي عليه السلام
In Majma` al-Bayan:
It is said: In the recitation of Ibn Mas`ud, it says: “By the time! Surely, humanity is in loss, and he is in it until the end of time.” And that was narrated from `Ali عليه السلام.
في كتاب كمال الدين وتمام النعمة باسناده إلى محمد بن سنان عن المفضل ابن عمر قال: سألت الصادق جعفر بن محمد عليهما السلام عن قول الله عز وجل: والعصر ان الانسان لفى خسر قال: العصر عصر خروج القائم عليه السلام ” ان الانسان لفى خسر ” يعنى أعدائنا الا الذين آمنوا يعنى بآياتنا وعملوا الصالحات يعنى بمواسات الاخوان وتواصوا بالحق يعنى الإمامة وتواصوا بالصبر يعنى بالعترة
In Kitab Kamal ad-Deen wa Timam an-Ni`ma: By its isnad to Muhammad b. Sinan from al-Mufaddal b. `Umar.
He said: I asked as-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad عليهما السلام about the saying of Allah عز وجل: “By the time! Surely, humanity is in loss.” (103:1-2). He said: “The time” is the time of the appearance of al-Qa’im عليه السلام. “Surely humanity is in loss” refers to our enemies. “Except for those who believed” refers to those who believe in our signs (ayatina). “And performed righteous deeds” refers to those who console their brothers. “And advised others towards the truth” refers to the Imamate. “And advised others towards patience” refers to [those who are patience] with the progeny.
في تفسير علي بن إبراهيم ” والعصر ان الانسان لفى خسر ” قال: قسم بان الانسان خاسر وقرأ أبو عبد الله عليه السلام ” والعصر ان الانسان لفى خسر وانه في إلى آخر الدهر الذي آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات وأتمروا بالتقوى وأتمروا بالصبر
In Tafsir `Ali b. Ibrahim: “By the time! Surely, humanity is in loss.” He said: He swears that humanity is losing. And Abu `Abdillah عليه السلام recited: By the time! Surely, humanity is in loss, and he is in it until the end of time. [Except] for those who believed and performed righteous deeds, and enjoined in strength, and enjoined in patience.
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر قال: حدثني يحيى بن زكريا عن علي بن حسان عن عبد الرحمن بن كثير عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام في قوله: ” الا الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات وتواصوا بالحق وتواصوا بالصبر ” فقال: استثنى أهل صفوته من خلقه، حيث قال: ” ان الانسان لفى خسر الا الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات ” يقول آمنوا بولاية أمير المؤمنين ” وتواصوا بالحق ” ذرياتهم ومن خلقوا بالولاية وتواصوا بها وصبروا عليها
Muhammad b. Ja`far narrated to us. He said: Ibn Zakariyya narrated to me from `Ali b. Hassaan from `Abd ar-Rahman b. Katheer from Abu `Abdillah عليه السلام, regarding His saying: “Except for those who believed and performed righteous deeds.” (103:3). He is saying, those who believed in the wilaya of Amir al-Mu’mineen. “And advised others towards the truth” (103:3) – advised their descendants with the wilaya, and were patient upon it.
