Question: What supererogatory acts do you perform after your prayers?
Answer: One of the supererogation that I am bind myself upon is as follow:
1) Ayat ul-Kursi till (وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ)
2) Tasbeeh of Hadhrat Fatima al-Zahra (sa)
3) 3 times Surah Tawheed
4) 3 times Salawat
5) 3 times[2]
6) While prostrating, reciting يا واسع يا وهاب fourteen times in one breath, and if one is not able to do it in one breath then just recite يا وهاب fourteen times.
I do not know any narration for this, but those who are considered the people of invocations and remembrance and are recognized as such in the eyes of those with knowledge, have recommended this recitation for materialistic and similar hardships.
Haaj Aqa Reza Sadr used to say: I had many material hardships that would not get resolved. Ayatullah Syed Abul Hasan Murtaza[3] – a scholar from Tehran who the people of knowledge were devoted to and accepted – gave this formula to me. I heard from Aqa Reza that he acted upon these instructions and his problems had found a solution. Haaj Aqa Reza gave me permission for it as well.
