One Year Anniversary for Iqra Online Members’ Portal
Alhamdulillah, it has already been a year today since I launched the Members Only portal on Iqra Online’s YouTube Channel [https://www.youtube.com/iqraonline]. I would like to thank all of the brothers and sisters from the different countries who have shown their support during this year. When I first started the members only portal I honestly didn’t think I would get more than 15 or 20 members, but with the grace of Allah, the number has touched the 120 mark within a year and continues to grow.
These last few years have been extremely tough for me and my family due to my immense work load, with full time work as a school principal, teaching at the Mufid Seminary, a masters degree with weekly submissions and tons of readings, along with general tabligh activities and travels. Despite the extremely limited time I have had, my passion has always been researching & teaching and hence why I ensured educational content and lessons are published consistently on the channel. There is one more term left for my degree after which a significant amount of time should open up in 2025 and I’ll be able to research and deliver lessons on a lot of other subjects that I have yet to get to, Inshallah.

Sayyid Ali studied in the seminary of Qom from 2012 to 2021, while also concurrently obtaining a M.A in Islamic Studies from the Islamic College of London in 2018. In the seminary he engaged in the study of legal theory, jurisprudence and philosophy, eventually attending the advanced kharij of Usul and Fiqh in 2018. He is currently completing his Masters of Education at the University of Toronto and is the head of a private faith-based school in Toronto, as well as an instructor at the Mizan Institute and Mufid Seminary.
